Well known for their rigorous crash test standards, the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) is the most trusted third-party safety assessment agency in the industry. So, here at Jack Daniels Audi of Paramus we were pretty excited to learn that, yesterday, three Audi models were given the highest designation possible from the trusted institute.

A3 and Q5 models earn the coveted Top Safety Pick+ award when equipped with Audi's Driver Assistance package. Likewise, the A6 achieves the same designation when built after January 2015. Driver Assistance technologies include features such as adaptive cruise control with stop & go functionality, Audi active lane assist and high beam assistant.

The Small Overlap Front crash test is notoriously the most demanding of all assessments. It is known for causing otherwise promising models to lose the "plus" designation. All three Audi models earned the highest score of "good" for the test. You can see it in action in the video below.
