Even luxury car buyers love a good deal, and many luxury automakers are starting to create quite a rivalry in this area. Take Audi and Mercedes-Benz, for example. Audi recently announced that its next Audi A3 sedan will have a starting price of $29,900, which is the same sticker price as the new Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class.

Mercedes-Benz has been promoting its new CLA-Class for months now- with a particular emphasis on how affordable the new model will be. And, though some in the automotive industry have questioned if this move could devalue such a (normally) pricey, luxury brand, Mercedes-Benz is excited to introduce a more attainable automobile. The strategy seems to be working so far, and Audi is ready to follow suit.

Audi has gotten a little feisty with its competitor, too. When speaking of how the models stack up, Scott Keogh, Audi of America President states, “We have a screen that’s as thin as an iPhone, fully retractable coming out of the dash, made of magnesium — a stunning piece of engineering. What they put on? You can debate it, but it’s basically just a rubber piece screwed on a screen, and the screen’s just sitting on the dash. . . "1

Seems like Audi is ready for an affordable model war. Jack Daniels Audi Paramus encourages you to stay tuned here with our Jack Daniels Audi Paramus blog for updates about the new A3's arrival in Paramus, NJ, and don't hesitate to drop by and check out the current A3, today.
