When the world's finest automakers collectively descend on the French capital, everyone around the world wins. Sure, we may not get to be there in person to witness the sights, sounds, and grandiosity of one of the automotive industry's biggest events of the year, but we do get to see the news roll in and learn about all the new concept cars. One of the most impressive vehicles of the 2014 show has been the Audi R8 LMX.
With its incredibly attractive body design, it's easy to see why so many eyes would be drawn to the R8 LMX. But along with the sleek body are the insanely-cool-sounding laser headlights. So cool in fact, that they have been banned in the United States, commence collective groaning now. To help ease the pain of knowing that the LMX won't hit American roads, here is a video of the scaled-down R8 engine, which will be available in R8 models here in the US.
